Many government and environmental organizations are taking note of the wildlife entanglement problem and some of them are trying to do something about it. Many encourage their constituents to do something about it, but that's kind of vague.
If you find such programs in your surfing, please post them here. Maybe we can help focus their efforts.

- Monofilament Recovery and Recycling Program - Florida. Mostly about convincing people to police themselves, but does encourage people to participate in a cleanup.
